Our Purpose and History of the Association
The Chicago North Shore Alumnae Panhellenic is alligned with the National Panhellenic Conference, one of the largest organizations advocating for women. Delegates from area member sororites unite with the common goals of philanthropy and community service. Originally the chairman of our association, Ann Marr, created our chapter to present opportunities to serve, meet new people, give back, and share ideas in a constructive manner. The Association quickly turned into an important part of our members' lives!
We have sponsored 18 annual Scholarship Benefits, awarding monetary assitance to outstanding 1st year sorority women and area high school senior women who will attend a
college or university with NPC sorority affiliations.
We had routinely awarded grants to select Northwestern women to attend the Undergraduate Interfraternity Leadership Conference. Plus, sponsoring The Sorority Life, a live, informational event for high school seniors and their families to learn more about the recruitment
process and rewarding sorority experience.
Our goal is to support and inspire through the sorority experience
Some of the brightest, most fascinating women are sorority members. While we don't let that alone define us, we cherish what it has helped us to become. Our group believes that promoting the sorority experience can open opportunities for the young women of today. Whether you assist us throughout the year or join us for our annual Scholarship Benefits, thank you. We strive to make a difference, one woman at a time!
Would you like to represent your sorority alumnae membership by joining our Chapter? Please contact us at info@northshorepanhellenic.net to express your interests and learn
more. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our upcoming meetings schedule.
Panhellenic Creed
We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character through close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness is the tenet by which we strive to live.
Members from CNSA Panhellenic joined the Delta Gammas for their holiday fundraiser "Plaid Tidings" in 2023. Wearing something plaid, games, a silent auction, live music, and specialty cocktails helped elevate the fundraiser festivities.
Our summer outing! We enjoy working closely to prepare for our annual Scholarship Benefits, and missed each other once our Benefit was over. On July 26, 2023, Board members and family gathered at the Buffalo Grove Panera Bread for a sunny summer brunch. (lft. to rt.) Jill Schmidt, Ann Marie Barry, Beth Stone, Veronica Toussaint, Debby Paulson Flondro, Lindsey Flondro, Cheryl Bork, Susan Smith, Marcia Lesniak, Karla Mugler, Bonnie Phemister, Linda Grandolfo, Kris Stidham, Jan Curschman, and Donna Fitzgerald.
(lft. to rt.) Susan Hurley, Ann Marie Barry, and CNSAP president Linda Grandolfo, traveled to the Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington IL, to attend the Stylin' for Scholars event in 2019. The Chicago Northwest Suburban Alumnae Panhellenic chapter annually holds a scholarship luncheon benefit to raise funds for local area high school and collegiate sorority women. CNSAP loves to support our neighboring Panhellenic members and regularly attend. We like to help our sisters out!
